Re-Stringing an Art Deco Necklace
(gold, diamonds, emeralds and river beads)
One area of this art deco necklace come undone and was handed over for repair.
I replaced the snapped threads and strung back all the river pearls of 1mm size, faithfully to recreate the original twisting pattern.
The first stage was to study the stringing technic used originally for this jewellery, and cross reference with past records and information from beaders.
