Goosewing Jewellery

Living in the Highlands of Scotland is a transcending experience and a resilient strength supporting my techniques and jewellery design.

In Celtic culture the wild goose was the symbol of the Holy Spirit who gathers the little and weary ones under its wing.
On the wing of inspiration for creativity and an eye for details, I care for your story sealed in the jewellery you will or already wear .

I look after existing jewelleries needing restoration or repair. I also replicate your missing and lost jewellery.
I remodel existing jewellery into new design, created in collaboration with the costumer.

Goosewing Jewellery adorns memories and ideas with exquisite materials.
The jeweller:
Thomas Lacroix

Born in France, I studied applied arts in Paris at Ecole Boulle. I have a master degree in metal engraving, and from there I evolved my skills furthermore as gold and silver smith.

During a sabbatical in UK, I fell in love with Scotland, the culture and the people.
At that time I met my wife Hilary. Today we live in Inverness-shire, alongside with two sons who have started apprenticeship with me.

In 2024 I joined the venture of teaching jewellery making at Highland School of Jewellery, created and lead by Karen Ann-Dicken, a gifted and experienced jeweller.
We offer a wide range of courses, wether it is a one session or a season of ten courses, our students make a piece of jewellery of their own, involving a set of techniques.
